This Could Be Useful: Britain’s best budget restaurants on The Guardian

Put this down as food guides I wish I’d looked up before my guy came. Not that we had that bad a food outing this time around (in fact, the restaurants we ended up going to were generally significantly better than the last trip he took here), but there’s so much on this list that I now want to try! Plus, budget eating is exactly about what my wallet can afford right now. Check out The Guardian’s interactive map on Britain’s Budget Restaurants.

Unfortunately, either we haven’t been profiled yet or Cambridge doesn’t actually have anywhere good to eat on a budget. Which means more canned beans and Boots meal deals while I’m here I suppose.

BUT! I will be more actively in London for a while starting mid-Month and it’s exciting to know that there are actually restaurants around where I’ll be staying that sound absolutely divine. Who knew Canary Wharf had a budget gastropub or that there was a borough food market near London Bridge? This is shaping up to be an awesome Spring.
