Hi! I’m Elaine, a person who actually had a job as a professional blogger at one point in time. I love trying, taking pictures of and writing about food so this website is something of a repository for all of that. Since it’s inception, it’s evolved to also include recipes, pictures of home cooking, random musings on snacks and an online list of restaurants I’d love to try.

Since beginning ElaineisEating I’ve moved around a bit, so there’s no one particular location that this blog is about. If I had to push though, I guess I’d say it’s mostly centered around Shanghai… and more recently, Cambridge and London. Hope you enjoy!
